Howest Tech Events

Tech&Meet sessions are exciting and inspiring talks on current topics within software engineering, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. During these evening events, experts from the field and academic researchers share their knowledge, insights and practical experience with an enthusiastic audience of students, professionals and tech enthusiasts. The sessions not only offer in-depth content, but also the opportunity to network and engage with speakers and like-minded people.

Tech&Meet sessions usually take place in the evening at the Howest Brugge campus next to the Railway Station, and are FREE to attend, but registration is mandatory. These evening events are aimed at Howest students and staff, as well as business professionals who want to learn more and discuss the latest technological developments.

In addition to these free evening events, Howest also organizes other learning opportunities such as masterclasses, microdegrees, postgraduate programmes and specialized training tracks. These initiatives are designed for professionals who want to deepen their expertise, gain practical skills, and stay ahead in fast-evolving fields like AI, software engineering and cybersecurity. While Tech&Meet offers a taste of the latest insights, our paid programmes allow you to dive much deeper, guided by experienced lecturers and industry experts.
