Transitioning to IPv6
Understand the advantages of IPv6 and start implementing dual-stack IPv6 today
The transition to IPv6 is inevitable
Join us for a specialised evening event, where we will explore the essentials of IPv6 adoption: the opportunities, challenges, and initiatives you can start today to transition to IPv6 and 'dual stack'. Expect practical, directly applicable knowledge with a strong focus on security by design.
The transition to IPv6 is already ongoing within ISPs and large organisations, now we slowly see SMEs also embarking on this journey.
The event consists of 3 parts:
Introduction: Why IPv6?
Benefits, limitations, and why the transition can no longer be postponed.
Transitioning to IPv6-only
Strategies, risks, and future scenarios when IPv4 is no longer supported.
Dual Stack in Practice
How to deploy IPv6 in your infrastructure today – with real-world configurations, routing, firewalls, and security considerations.
This evening presentation will just give a glimpse of the IPv6 transition path and the road to a practical, safe and secure dual-stack strategy. If you want to dig much deeper into the topics of transitioning to IPv6 and implementing dual stack, we strongly recommend Nico's online masterclass "Dual Stack IPv6" (presented in Dutch).
